His Cheating Heart: How to Recognize if Your Husband is Having an Affair Online
You may not have the perfect marriage, but it's not bad. And you know it could be better. While your husband has never cheated on you ' at least in person with another woman ' you've got a sneaking suspicion that he's cheating online by viewing explicit pornographic websites. But, how do you know for sure? The truth is that you won't know for certain unless you ask him and he tells you. Before you confront him, though, you'll want to confirm your suspicions, at least in part.
Here are a few things you may want to look out for:
1) Secretive surfing on internet.
Funny thing, whenever you come into the office where he's got the computer set up, he frequently shuts down his browser window and pretends to be working on something else, like an MS Word document from the office. You may have never put it together, but you think it's somewhat odd how he reacts when you surprise him by walking in the room. Also, your husband tends to spend a lot of time alone surfing the internet, especially when he thinks you're asleep or the family is out of the house.
2) Unexplained charges on your credit card.
At first you may have not thought much of it. But now you're not so sure. You first started noticing some odd charges on your credit card bill a few months back that have continued until now. Sometimes they're odd one-time charges, others are re-ocurring, like some type of monthly subscription perhaps. Either way, you don't know what they are and when you confront your husband about them, he claims to have no idea. You, on the other hand, suspect these charges are somehow related to the porn habit he denies having.
3) Desire for inappropriate sexual contact.
Do you notice your husband demanding sex more frequently? Do you find that when you have those infrequent times of sexual intimacy that you feel somehow violated, because he suddenly wants to engage in these strange positions or inappropriate contact that makes you increasingly uncomfortable? Or, has he withdrawn into himself and lost all interest in sex with you?
Even a few of these indicators may be signs that your husband is cheating behind your back online, by viewing pornographic websites. If your suspicions have been confirmed, you may want to eventually confront him about his habits. If you don't, you risk not only potentially losing your husband but also standing by while your marriage is slowly being destroyed.
